Host a Third-party Fundraising Event

Make a difference for children–your way.

Hosting a third-party event is a meaningful and creative way to support children at EverHope while engaging your own network of friends, family, coworkers, or customers.

Whether it’s a birthday fundraiser, company drive, fitness challenge, or community event, your effort helps provide safety, stability, and hope for children in crisis.

What Is a Third-party Event?

A third-party event is a fundraiser organized by an individual, group, school, business, or faith/community organization to benefit EverHope.

How it Works

  1. You plan and host the event

  2.  Invite participants

  3. Collect donations!

Then, designate the proceeds to support our mission.

Popular examples include:

  • Company or employee-led giving campaigns

  • School spirit nights or student-led drives

  • Fitness challenges (walks, runs, yoga, spin)

  • Restaurant give-back nights

  • Garage sales, bake sales, or craft fairs

  • Holiday or special-occasion drives

No matter the size, every event makes an impact.

Why Host an Event for EverHope?

When you host a third-party fundraiser, you:

  • Directly support children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or crisis

  • Raise awareness about EverHope  in your community

  • Inspire others to get involved and give back

  • Turn a moment, milestone, or gathering into lasting impact

Your generosity helps ensure children have a safe place to land and caring adults to support them during their toughest moments.

What We Can Provide

While third-party events are independently organized, we’re happy to support you with:

  • Event guidelines and best practices

  • Sample language about the Shelter and our mission

  • Logos and basic brand assets (upon approval)

  • Guidance on donation submission and recognition

Please note: Shelter staff are unable to attend or manage third-party events, and use of our name or logo must be approved in advance.

To protect the children we serve and our nonprofit status:

  • Events must align with EverHope’s mission and values

  • The Shelter must be listed as the beneficiary, not the event host

  • All promotions should clearly state the event is hosted in support of EverHope

  • Funds raised should be submitted within 30 days of the event

  • Use of our logo, name, or images requires prior approval

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, with prior approval. Please contact us before promoting your event.

  • Donations made directly to EverHope are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Purchases, tickets, or entry fees may not be fully deductible.

  • In some cases, we may share approved events on our social channels, but promotion is primarily the responsibility of the event host.

  • For privacy and safety reasons, children in our care are unable to attend third-party events.
