EverHope Children’s Shelter is an emergency shelter serving children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or family crisis. Formerly known as the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, EverHope provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can begin to heal through stability, dignity, and trauma-informed care.

EverHope Children’s Shelter serves children from birth through age 18 who need immediate, short-term care during times of crisis. The average age at our shelter is 14 years old.

Yes. EverHope r is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

You can donate online, by mail, or through employer matching gifts. Donations help provide safe shelter, meals, clothing, and 24/7 care for children in crisis.

Yes. All donations made directly to EverHope Children’s Shelter are tax-deductible as permitted by law. A receipt is provided for your records.

EverHope is the public name (DBA) of the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter. While we encourage using EverHope, we can still accept and process checks, stock gifts, and other payments made payable to Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter.
Gifts made under either name support the same organization, mission, and programs.

Volunteering at EverHope

Volunteers play a vital role at EverHope. Opportunities may include administrative support, organizing donations, facility projects, and approved group volunteer activities.
Volunteer opportunities vary based on current needs and safety guidelines.

Yes. Individual volunteers must meet minimum age requirements and complete a screening process. Group and corporate volunteer opportunities are available with prior approval.

Due to safety, privacy, and trauma-informed care standards, all volunteers will go through a screening process in order to determine whether they can work directly with our youth.
Getting Involved Beyond Volunteering

Yes. Individuals, businesses, schools, and community groups are welcome to host third-party fundraising events in support of EverHope. Events must be approved in advance.

Absolutely. Corporate partnerships may include sponsorships, employee volunteer days, donation drives, or cause-marketing campaigns.
