About Us

Our new name, EverHope, represents our commitment to standing with Arkansas’s children through trauma and toward lasting stability—fostering hope at all times.

Our ‘Why?’

Over 13,000 children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment have walked through our doors–and this number continues to grow.

Children often arrive with little more than the clothes on their backs. They are unfamiliar with safety, stability, and care that every young person needs for a healthy life. We believe every child deserves a safe place to call home and the chance to experience childhood without fear of hunger, instability, or uncertainty.

There’s no quick fix or magic solution to prevent children from experiencing these kinds of crises.

With decades of listening to children, caregivers, social workers, and partners across Arkansas, we’ve learned that children need more than temporary safety—they need enduring hope.

That understanding has shaped our evolution beyond emergency shelter services into a statewide partner supporting children and families through healing, trauma-informed education, foster care, and the transition into adulthood.

More About Our New Look

Our Name

We chose the name EverHope because hope is at the heart of everything we do.

At EverHope, we transform the threads of trauma into a strong, resilient fabric of hope.

Every day we work to weave new stories into the lives of children and families across Arkansas — stories of healing, connection, resilience, and the beauty of a journey stitched together piece by piece.

Our Threads of Hope

Strengthen

Build resilience and prevent trauma before it begins.

Support

Surround families and caregivers with guidance and resources.

Shelter

Provide immediate safety and trauma-informed care in moments of crisis.

Stabilize

Help children and families rebuild and thrive long-term.

Together, these threads weave together to create something lasting — a quilt of care that wraps children and families in safety and healing through every season of their journey.

We chose a quilt as our symbol because it tells the story of what we do: stitching together aspects of care and healing to create something whole and lasting.

Just as every square in a quilt has its own shape, color, and purpose, each of our programs (from shelter and foster care to education and paths to adulthood) plays a vital role in wrapping children and families in safety and healing, turning the threads of trauma into a resilient fabric of hope.
